Veerle van Overloop knows that if you’re going to do it, do it well, and that’s exactly what she does right out of the gate with her debut Antonia’s Line (1995). The comedy-drama is not only her professional introduction to her views, but her skin coming out party, too, and everyone’s invited. The story of a Dutch matron who establishes and, for several generations, oversees a close-knit, matriarchal community where feminism and liberalism thrive. Oh, and nudity, thank you, Veerle, very much. Since then she’s has a career mostly on the boob tube, but we’d love to see her boobs again.
